Crummel Cake

     This post is very special as it's our review of a most important event!  We were so pumped to throw a Bridal shower for our dear Gracie's team member Camile.  We have worked so many events together that we almost expected her to walk in and help out as we were decorating this fun event!  :)  The flip side of that coin is that we wanted this event to be very different from our others and unique to Camile alone.  That's quite a challenge because she knows us so well!
     Since our sweet friend is leaving behind her maiden name beginning with an S for a married name beginning with the letter C, thus making her initials CC; we decided to play up the letter C in our event design and food choices.  As always, once we get started with a theme, we find it hard to stop. We started with a blessing tree as guests entered.  Guests filled the tags with fun well wishes and sentiments for Camile.

We had some fun getting crafty and creating Cs in our color scheme.  We made them all gifts following the shower....Hope she's fond of her initials, because she sure has a ton of Cs now!   

CAMILE'S CAKE POPS

Tired of the same old cake options, we opted for these fun cake pops.  A nostalgic nod to the orange push-ups of our youth, they are basically layered cake and frosting in a cute little cup with a stick.   They were homemade and brought a really fun and different dessert option.  They were a hit with our guests and Camile too

Crummel Cake: Yes, we went there.  

Camile loves coffee.  Camile actually loves fru fru coffee drinks that cost $8 a cup.  We had fun putting together a coffee station with every flavored syrup and creamer we could find.  So what if we couldn't sleep after those 6 cups of afternoon coffee??
