There's nothing better than the magic words "make it all green"!! What a wonderful, soothing, delightful color!! This fabulous color has so many possibilities... it can be paired with almost any other color and the results = gorgeous! So when the fabulously stylish W paid us a visit and asked to have her wedding in layers of the luxurious green, we were more than happy to oblige!! Of course, the fact that W also loves Hydrangea (our favorite flower) makes for an easy job!
Just when we think we are in wedding planning heaven, more magic words from the beautiful W... how do you feel about green apples and limes, she asks. Hard to stifle a chuckle at this question... if there is one thing Gracie's is known for, it's our use (love of??) fruit in event decor!! The result of our efforts = the beautifully simple, fresh smelling, buffet centerpiece below.
Because W and her fiance B wanted a fun, laid back atmosphere at the reception we opted for a buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres. Delicious ground beef sliders, cheese steak sliders, and jalapeno chicken sliders were a guest favorite. Another hit was the delicious strawberry pecan salad served in easy handheld stemless martini glasses....

One of the best ways to have a guest pleasing fun celebration is to allow guests to customize the food to their tastes. W and B decided to offer both a Mac and Cheese and a Mashed Potato bar. A variety of toppings were available... any of which work great on these two delicious menu options!
As with any reception, the personalized touches are what make it truly special....
