City Country Chic

This fun wedding adventure featured one of the spunkiest Brides we've ever had the pleasure of working with... Kristen is certainly one of a kind!  We went through various versions of what this wedding design should look like.  We couldn't be more pleased with the final perfect version!!  After a fabulous church ceremony guests headed to the country chic reception.  This wonderful venue had a charming small garden feeling... you would never guess it was located in the heart of Dallas!  What a privilege to be part of the joining of these fabulous two people.  That being said... she's all yours now, Ryan!!  ;)

Beautiful ceremony at the church

Guests were greeted at the reception with our unique sign in station.  Vintage ladder shelves and huge chalkboard scripture... such fun!

The Bride wanted some fun lounge type seating.  We decided on a fun DIY area using stacked hay bales and quilts.... worked perfectly with our theme!  And for coffee table deco?  Popcorn and M&Ms... YUM!

This venue has the cutest gazebo.  We continued our lounge style seating here using coffee tables, hay, and more quilts.  The lanterns were the perfect touch for the coffee tables!

Guest tables!
Big name focal point!
Adorable cake topper hand made by a friend of the Bride!!

Sweet couple on their big day

One of our favorite activities for this type of reception is the photo booth.  It creates a fun go-to activity for the guests.  This photo booth was DIY which means that we set the back drop and props ourselves and then brought in a talented photographer to shoot the photos.  We had our fabulous photog take a picture with his fancy camera and then take a polaroid for the guests to have immediately.  We had such a good response.  This is an easy way to get guests involved in an event.... which of course always makes for a fun party!!

Fun send off with glow sticks!!  Congratulations Kristen and Ryan!!
Thank you, thank you AKO Photography for your wonderful detail shots and the awesome photobooth!!
