Bearcat Birthday

This fun birthday for our favorite thirteen year old happened to fall just one week after our favorite team won the state championship!!  Love it when these details fall together!!!  Our football party was a true example of using what you already have to decorate.  In this case, we knew our football crowd and only had to raid the birthday boy's room to get the appropriate decorations!

                                                                

The fun bearcat sign was already hanging in the boy's room, but the special football was part of the his birthday haul... it made his first impression of the party table even more exciting!!  We would have liked to see this table stay together for at least a few minutes, but hey we were dealing with a bunch of hungry teenagers.  And sadly the top of the cupcake tower was needed on the field for the game!!  Of course this was all good with us... the sign of a sucessful party is a food table thoroughly enjoyed by the guests!! 

ORANGE, ORANGE, AND MORE ORANGE

It's always fun to pick a theme and run with it.  In this instance, we decided to stick with all orange food since our Bearcats are orange and black. Of course, we made sure all of the selections were favorites of the birthday boy!!  Specifically the Hot and Spicy Cheese its shown here.  His other random request?  Eight cheese pizzas and one pepperoni pizza.  Whatevs!!  What the Birthday Boy wants, the Birthday Boy gets!!
